{Note: I wrote this on January 12, 2012. And I’ll start taking weekly belly pics around 12 weeks – I’m too bloated and nasty to photograph and publish it to the web forever and ever and ever.}
- How far along? 8 weeks – baby is the size of a gummy bear
- Total weight gain: I am staying far, far away from the scale right now.
- Maternity clothes? No, but the looser and baggier the better. I. Am. So. Bloated.
- Stretch marks? None!
- Sleep: Not great. Getting real nauseous at night, then waking up 3-5 times a night to pee. Very tired in the morning.
- Best moment this week: Refilling my Zofran prescription.
- Miss Anything? NOT FEELING NAUSEOUS EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY. Being hungry. Being satisfied after a meal. Having enough energy to take care of the house and Luke.
- Movement: Not there yet. (Unless this is referring to bowel movement? In that case, we aren’t there yet either.) ;)
- Food cravings: On several occasions I wanted a hot fudge sundae this week, but I’m already over it.
- Food aversions: Everything. I’m already a vegetarian, but now the sheer sight of meat on a commercial makes me throw up. I also threw up at the smell of pizza. Food disgusts me.
- Gender: TBD
- Labor Signs: NA
- Symptoms: Nausea, nausea, nausea, extreme fatigue, heartburn, bloating, and I am alllll sorts of “backed up”. Oily hair, oily face, breakouts. Not glowing. Kind of shining though, from all the oil.
- Belly Button in or out? In
- Wedding rings on or off? On
- Looking forward to: Not throwing up all the time and getting my life back. Also – ultrasound and first doc appointment next week!
Whoa. First trimester this time around? No bueno. I have been vomiting daily for 3 weeks and it is taking a LOT out of me. I’m absolutely exhausted, I can’t walk or talk without intense nausea, I’m seriously oily and breaking out – I am really quite nasty. Sorry for over-sharing, but Future Me needs to know and REMEMBER THIS in case she gets any bright ideas about reproducing again.
